The Links at Stono Ferry combines the historic traditions of Charleston with exciting golf along the Intracoastal waters of South Carolina. The Battle at Stono Ferry was fought on these grounds in 1779. The battle is still being fought today, only this time it is over 18 of Charleston's best golf holes.

The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort is to have hosted the 2007 Senior PGA and will host the 2012 PGA Championships. The Ocean Course will become only the fourth course to host each of the PGA of America's major championships.
